Are you an intrepid explorer of the unknown? Do you enjoy having your mind twisted in ways you never thought possible? Are you ready to leap down the rabbit hole and emerge in undiscovered territory? Well then...The Convoluted Universe (Volumes 1-3) is your ticket! Dolores Cannon's involvement in the field of hypnosis for over 40 years has resulted in many thought provoking books. She also lectures around the world and teaches her very special method of induction. Cannon began her career as a hypnotherapist, aiming to help her clients solve their problems through the process of hypnosis. It was during one of these early sessions that her amazing journey into the unknown began. While under hypnosis, her client suddenly transformed before her eyes a totally different personality emerged with it's own vocal patterns and body language. In the next series of sessions she regressed her client to 5 distinct lifetimes back to when she was created by God! Cannon s life and belief system was changed forever. Fascinated, she now saw this work as a way to explore the history of our world and beyond - 'firsthand.' In the late '70's she discovered that the majority of problems people experience can be traced back to events that occurred in their past lives, instead of their present ones Over the years she has developed her own method of regression, and is able to quickly get her clients to the somnambulist trance state which is the deepest possible trance state. It is there that she is able to contact and communicate with the individual's subconscious. Through her books, Cannon brings us along with her as she regresses her clients back to past lives and beyond. The narrative voice is engaging and down to earth. She shares her internal dialogue as she comes to terms with the strange situations and areas of the unknown her clients find themselves in. The most amazing thing to me, is the shocking similarity of information brought forth by these people from all over the world - all strangers to her and each other. That really got me thinking. Buried deep within our subconscious lies a wealth of experience and information. And the knowledge that we are all connected. Volume One of The Convoluted Universe transports you to the days of Atlantis, where you'll learn about many Earth mysteries such as the lines of the Nazca Plains, Easter Island, the Pyramids, and so much more. You will explore parallel universes, group souls, other planets, alien life, other dimensions, and more. Most of all, when you come to the end of the book you will want more! Not to worry there are three volumes, with another on the way! --Abby Horowitz of Mind Body Spirit Odyssey
About the Author
Dolores Cannon, a regressive hypnotherapist and psychic researcher who records 'Lost' knowledge, was born in 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was educated and lived in St. Louis until her marriage in 1951 to a career Navy man. She spent the next 20 years traveling all over the world as a typical Navy wife, and raising her family. In 1970 her husband was discharged as a disabled veteran, and they retired to the hills of Arkansas. She then started her writing career and began selling her articles to various magazines and newspapers. She has been involved with hypnosis since 1968, and exclusively with past-life therapy and regression work since 1979. She has studied the various hypnosis methods and thus developed her own unique technique which enabled her to gain the most efficient release of information from her clients. Dolores is now teaching her unique technique of hypnosis all over the world. In 1986 she expanded her investigations into the UFO field. She has done on-site studies of suspected UFO landings, and has investigated the Crop Circles in England. The majority of her work in this field has been the accumulation of evidence from suspected abductees through hypnosis. Dolores is an international speaker who has lectured on all the continents of the world. Her thirteen books are translated into twenty languages. She has spoken to radio and television audiences worldwide. And articles about/by Dolores have appeared in several U.S. and international magazines and newspapers. She has received Outstanding Contribution and Lifetime Achievement awards from several hypnosis organizations. Dolores has a very large family who keep her solidly balanced between the 'real' world of her family and the 'unseen' world of her work.

What a Wonderfully Complex World
By Happy Dad
It is true that as one reads this book, one connects with the energy that created it. It can be very healing and enlightening, while at the same time it can be very confusing. There is some amazing potential here if one maintains a very discerning mind.
I like the book overall and enjoyed the information presented, though many things are clearly (at least to me) fiction (ie, the Shroud of Turin is not real - it is a forgery)... Dolores has described herself as a "grandmotherly type" who could stay objective and present this information in as simple a way as possible and in the most non-threatening manner. Most of the material is too complex for words, so what we get in the book is in some cases the closest thing we can have until we directly experience it for ourselves. Dolores has decided to stay at the level of most readers who might be new to this material and relate as if she is discovering it for the first time. She has done that job well, though this is also what keeps the book from becoming great. Dolores takes EVERYTHING at face value and is not able to evaluate it as truth - she stays in her reporter role. And this is where it gets complicated...
First, Dolores has no psychic/intuitive ability that would help her evaluate truth from fiction. Second, in holding herself back personally from deeper spiritual experiences (her personal choice), Dolores continues to mix in some lower truths and personal biases with the higher ones. I find myself getting high reading the channeling of some of the beings (though not all) coming through her hypnosis subjects, but then I have to come down as I start reading some of Dolores' synopsis, opinions, and personal thoughts on the information that has been presented.
For example, can we now drop the idea of "Karmic Debts" that have to be repaid? At the top of page 179, Karma is finally clearly & lucidly explained for what it is, but due to the nature of the book, it is still not clear in other areas. The Karmic system, similar to the 10 Commandments, were the best ways found to relate higher truths to a given consciousness level at a violent period in history. They are a 1st level consciousness system based on reward-punishment in a "me first" oriented world. It works for that level of thinking. But this book is not written to or for people who want to stay at that level, only those transitioning from it. Holding onto the idea of karma (or God as a HE - more of an IT) as a payback, just maintains unnecessary obstacles to growth.
And... about the Jesus story. It is interesting that all of Dolores' sources, even the supposedly "high" ones, basically confirm all the religious Sunday school stories we have been told about Jesus' life up to his crucifixion and rising from the dead. But is this story what actually happened? If you want to shake your tree, try Michael Morgan's "Pontius Pilate's Gospel of Jesus" and round that up with "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ" by Levi. These books contain more truth about the Jesus story than any I have read. It is in these books that I discovered more of who Jesus (Yeshua) was and what the term "Christ" really means.
Dolores, you have done amazing work, but please allow some spiritual experiences of your own and raise your level of understanding to a knowing level & not just stay at a reporter/intellectual level. Examine your own personal beliefs & biases. Bring your personal being up to or nearer to the information you are presenting. It will make the messages you impart so much more consistent. You don't need to hold yourself back for us. You can walk ahead in spiritual growth if you want to... :) And please remember to leave the Light on...
In short, despite A LOT of really powerful insights and accounts in Convoluted 1, I still remind myself that this information is often biased/skewed in some way, either by difficulties in language, personal bias, or simple human error. The discerning mind & heart should always remain alert when evaluating any material (not just this book) to see how it compares to the personal truth we each have within ourselves. And we must each take personal responsibility for how we evaluate that truth and ultimately apply it.

Consider other authors, like Adrian Dvir
By William Geller
I ordered Dolores' book based on the high reviews it received. I can see why they received those marks but I can't agree with them. The topics covered in her books, through regression hypnosis, are very interesting and comprehensive. However, it becomes painfully obvious that Dolores has no idea what questions to ask or even understand the responses. For topics such as alternate universes, time travel, and reincarnation (for example) you need the mind of an engineer or atleast a mind more open than Dolores'. She admits herself that she often doesn't believe what she hears and takes it at face value. For this, I gave this book 3 stars.
If you share the same sentiment as me, consider reading Adrian Dvir's book. One of the first books I read on the subject of Aliens and Alien Clinics and he does a good job with it. He is an engineer and asks direct questions that dig at the concept, yet in the same informal way as Dolores does - through conversation. If we could mix Dolores' extensive work with Adrian direct questioning, you'd have an excellent book!

at first it was very difficult - even if amazing - reading
By Sona Siepakova
This book somehow feeds my soul with hope and rememberance. I feel addicted to it, as if it was my a much treasured phone line to my source, to my home.
I consider it a texbook with fundaments of how the universe works, something I treasure very much and I wish one day it becomes a general knowledge even taught at schools.
However, at first it was very difficult - even if amazing - reading, but then I somehow became able to dive deeper into it, understand it more intuitively maybe, and now I am already devouring the Book Two of this series. I no longer can - nor want to - stop until I am done with all parts.
